It depends on the web profiles you need, the material thickness and the building height. Fx01 and Fx03 run 24 to 16 gauge (0.6 to 1.5 mm) for residential and mixed-use work up to about 5 to 6 storeys, while Fx06 and Fx08 run 21 to 12 gauge (0.8 to 2.5 mm) for commercial and mid-rise buildings of 8+ storeys.
